Office Manager
OVD’s Dental Office Manager, Ashlee, has been in the dental field for over 26 years. She is passionate about helping patients maximize their dental benefits while ensuring they fully understand their coverage and treatment options. Ashlee also plays an important role in supporting and managing the team at OVD, helping create a positive experience for both patients and staff.
When she’s not in the office, Ashlee enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and going on walks with her red tick coonhound, Copper. She has been married to her best friend, Jeremy, for 20 years, and together they reside in Davis County.
Karma
Recall Specialist
Karma is our dedicated Recall Specialist and does a wonderful job helping our patients stay on track with their dental health by scheduling them back for their hygiene appointments. She also managed Dr. Ward’s office for more than 40 years, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and compassion to our team.
Outside of the office, Karma enjoys pottery, knitting, reading, and cooking. She especially treasures spending time with her 12 grandchildren, who keep her busy and bring her endless joy. Her warm personality, dedication, and contagious laugh make her a beloved part of our team and a favorite among our patients.
Alena
Scheduling Coordinator/Insurance Coordinator
With nearly 18 years of experience in the dental field, I have built a strong background in both clinical and administrative dentistry. I began my career as a dental assistant before transitioning to the front office, where I discovered my passion for dental insurance and patient financial coordination. I have also worked for a dental insurance company, giving me valuable insight into insurance policies, claims processing, and benefit verification.
I’m a proud mom of two sons and two dachshunds. In my free time, I love going for walks and hikes with my dogs, practicing yoga, and exploring new coffee shops. I also enjoy dancing with a Peruvian folkloric dance group, which allows me to stay connected to culture while having fun. I value spending time with my family, staying active, and trying new experiences.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Since entering the dental field in 2020, she has loved helping patients achieve healthier smiles. After graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program at Salt Lake Community College, she found her passion in creating meaningful relationships with her patients and making a positive difference in their oral health every day.
When she’s away from the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and kids, playing board games with friends and family, and relaxing with sewing projects while watching her favorite shows.

Hi, I’m Vania! I’ve been a dental assistant since 2019 and have developed a strong passion for dentistry, which inspired me to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. I love helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and making a positive impact through dental care.

Hi, my name is Alyssa. I’ve been dental assisting for 10 years and I love it! Outside of the office I enjoy rock climbing, crafting, and doing puzzles with my wife.

Hi I’m Cindy! I am one of the OVD Dental Assistants and I am currently pursuing a degree in Finance. In my free time I enjoy baking, walking my dog, and spending time with my family and friends.
France
Dental Assistant
Hi! My name is Francisca, but everyone calls me France. I’ve been a dental assistant for six years, and I truly enjoy building relationships with patients and helping create a comfortable, positive experience at every visit. I take pride in making each patient feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my baby girl, having movie nights, and visiting the zoo. I’m bilingual, thanks to my Chilean dad, and I’m also proud of my Croatian heritage from my mom’s side. I enjoy dancing merengue, salsa, and bachata, and I love learning about different cultures, especially through their food!
